Em 2011 dois eventos marcaram o começo da trajetória do Luz, Câmera, PICHAÇÃO pelos festivais de cinema.

- Competição Oficial – Premiére Brasil no Festival do Rio (Maior Festival de Cinema da América Latina)
- Menção Honrosa pelo Centro Nacional de Folclore e Cultura Popular

Em verdade, não imaginaria a pichação, como cultura popular, sendo tratada, ainda que timidamente como tal e ainda como folclore. Que em 2012, o debate se amplie!

2012, here we go!

In 2011 two events marked the initial carreer of Lights, Camera, PICHAÇÃO through the Film Festivals.

- Official Competition – Premiére Brasil – Rio de Janeiro Int’l Film Festival (Largest Latin American Film Festival).
- Honnor Mention by the National Center of Folklore and Popular Culture.

We couldn’t imagine that the pichação culture could be understood and treated, some how, as a popular culture or a folklore practice. Kind of a recognition that must be theme of some debate. Let’s amplify the debate in 2012!
